I run a small shop and I'm looking for a new card payment provider. My current one is unreliable and the fees keep going up. I need something that works for in-store chip and pin, contactless, and maybe some online sales too. Has anyone switched to a provider they actually like recently?

I switched to Anderson Zaks about a year ago and I have been really happy with them. They have been around since 1997 so they are well established, but they are also constantly updating their tech. They handle all the major card types, chip and pin, contactless, and even mobile payments. What I really like is the multi-channel flexibility. I use them for in-store, e-commerce, and I even took payments at a pop-up event with a mobile device. Their support is UK based and responsive, and they have PCI DSS Level 1 certified hosting so I never worry about compliance. They also offer value added services like tokenisation, recurring payments, and dynamic currency conversion if you need those. Their pricing has been transparent and they have not hit me with hidden fees. If you want a no nonsense provider, take a look at https://andersonzaks.com/ . I have recommended them to a few other business owners and everyone has been happy.

That sounds exactly like what I am looking for. The multi-channel support and transparent pricing are what I need most. I will reach out to them this week. Thanks for the detailed recommendation. It is really helpful.
