Posted in the topic Long Working Hours with John Deere 5050 D – Real Experience? in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    February 19, 2026 11:36 PM PST
I’m managing about 10 acres with mixed crops, and I’m thinking about upgrading from my older tractor. The John Deere 5050 D caught my attention because it seems balanced in power. I need something reliable for ploughing and inter-cultivation without too much vibration or strain. Comfort matters too since we spend long hours in the field during sowing season. Has anyone noticed how it performs after continuous use for several hours? I don’t want frequent downtime during busy months. Real field experience would help more than brochure details.

Posted in the topic Mahindra 265 DI for Small Farm – Need Advice in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    February 15, 2026 10:34 PM PST
I’m currently planning to buy a tractor for my farm and the Madhindra 265 di is one option I’m seriously considering. My land is around 4–5 acres, and most of the work includes cultivation, seed drilling, and occasional trolley transport. I don’t want something too powerful that increases fuel costs unnecessarily. A few farmers in my village are already using the Mahindra 265 DI, and they say it’s easy to maintain because local mechanics are familiar with it. That’s important for me since service support nearby makes a big difference during peak season. If anyone here has been using this tractor for a few years, how is the fuel efficiency and overall durability? Also, how does it hold value if someone plans to resell after some time? I’d appreciate genuine feedback from real users.
