Posted in the topic Betting exchange or bookmaker for beginners? in the forum Off-Topic Discussions

Hey everyone, I’ve just recently started looking into sports betting and I’m a bit stuck on where to begin. I came across this article — https://sportsdigest.in/betting-exchange-vs-traditional-bookmaker/146750/ — that compares exchanges and traditional bookmakers, but I’m still not 100% sure which is better for someone totally new. Bookmakers seem easier to use, but people keep telling me that exchanges give better odds in the long run. I tried checking out a betting exchange and honestly, the layout looked super confusing. I don’t want to mess up my first few bets, so would you guys say it's safer to just stick with a bookmaker at the start? This post was edited by barry LI at August 6, 2025 3:19 PM PDT
